Merry Christmas to all! I pray that each of you are having an amazing one and a day that is filled with the amazing grace of our Savior! xoxo

I will make you a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth. –Isaiah 49:6

But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire…-Daniel 3:25

Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

–Ephesians 5:14

As I embrace this Christmas, I have reminisced over my memories of Christmas. As I recollect the numerous nights of White Christmas, sleeping in my Christmas pajamas, and putting the angel on the tree, one special memory always comes to mind: the singing of silent night a capella with lit candles. This was a memory that I still needed—even in the sizzling hot temperatures of Australia. So, last night, I took my tapered candle and went out by myself, after a group of us had returned from worship, and sang Silent Night. The entire place was filled with darkness except this tiny flame.

This soon had me thinking and the Lord sparked a message in my heart. Even when everything around you is dark and silent, I want you to even there—sing my praises and shine the light I’ve given you. “I will make you a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth” (Isaiah 49:6). This word lit hope inside my heart and the Lord encouraged me to encourage you. He wants you to shine His light wherever you are—whether in the financial world of New York City, the stages of Nashville, or in the walls of a classroom, He longs for you to spread what has been given to you. Then, a tiny flame will ignite the earth and the world will be “walking in the midst of the fire” (Daniel 3:25). Christ didn’t just come to place a light on pastors, youth ministers, or missionaries. He came to give us all life: and with that, to give us light. “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” (Ephesians 5:14). Spread light and not just today—on Christmas, but on every day. Let your Christmas memory be the remembrance of the gift. And remember—it only takes a spark to get a fire going…(spiritual hymn).

P.S. Merry Merry Christmas!!! I love y’all!
